Role Overview
We are looking for a commercially driven Business Development Manager with proven experience in the security industry, including a strong understanding of risk and threat assessments, operational security, and technical security solutions. You will play a pivotal role in expanding our client base in the northern regions of the UK, engaging with organisations operating in both complex and everyday security environments.
Key Responsibilities
– Drive business development across the north of the UK, identifying opportunities in private and public sectors.
– Build and grow long-term relationships with corporate, critical infrastructure, and regulated-sector clients.
– Understand client needs in physical, operational, and technical security.
– Lead the end-to-end sales process from initial engagement to negotiation and contract close.
– Collaborate with internal security specialists for accurate project scoping and delivery.
– Represent Consultive Solutions Limited at events and networking functions.
– Achieve and exceed revenue and growth targets.
About You
Business development or sales experience within the security industry.
Experience in high-risk or regulated sectors (e.g., utilities, transport, manufacturing).
Knowledge of risk and threat assessment methodologies.
Understanding of operational security and physical protective security measures.
Familiarity with technical security solutions such as CCTV surveillance or access-control systems.
Knowledge of relevant legislation and industry standards.
Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder-engagement skills.
Ability to work independently across a regional territory.
Comfortable engaging with exec level, senior management teams, senior security leaders.
Experience and knowledge of IT and Cyber Security.
