Consultive Solutions Limited appointed Independent Security and Communication consultants for £70m Tyne and Wear Metro depot.
Engineering and construction company, VolkerFitzpatrick, has appointed Consultive Solutions Limited to provide security and communication consultancy for the new Tyne and Wear Metro depot facility at South Gosforth.
The new purpose-built depot is being commissioned by Stadler, Swiss train manufacturer and forms part of the £362m fleet replacement programme led by Nexus, the public body which owns and manages the Metro. Accommodating the new state-of-the-art trains; building work is mostly set to be completed by 2025.
Stadler, has pledged to support the regional economy by involving as many North East based companies in the project as possible, making this appointment highly significant for Consultive Solutions Limited, who are delighted to be involved in a project which will see regional rail travel transformed.
